Moon : OS by Clint Mansell

I don't mean to plug this movie that much but I just can't get enough of this score. I've been a fan of Clint's work since Requiem for a Dream. I even used Summer Overture in one of my old school projects before it was adopted into the 'use for every trailer soundtrack' academy.

I tend to listen to music mostly when I'm working, which is a majority of the day. I listen to different genres depending on the work that I'm doing. I've been working on my new website lately which en tales programming and making art, and this score has fueled me through it all.

It's a very soothing score that blends into the background. Hopefully that doesn't come across as a dig, I'm just saying that there are a lot of albums that can be all over the map from calm to fast paced. This has a consistent theme with a lot of piano work. I guess the best way to explain it is it sounds like somebody thinking, trying to work something out, but in music form. Maybe that's why it's been working for me lately.
